Adventures with Catey
My friend Catey and I walked around campus for about an hour yesterday and snapped some photos of the greenbelt, along with some other random things. She is using a Nikon D5000. We had a lot of fun! I took both of these pictures with my 70-300mm lens. The best part of our adventure? We ran into a professional sports photographer!
Nom nom nom. This particular photo got me a LOT of honking cars..I guess that's what happens when you lay down on the grass with your butt facing University Drive. I just wanted me a picture of a squirrel. Edits: focal b&w, cropping

The one above happens to be the bells of my church. Many, many edits done to this.
Edits above: cropping, warmify, picture temperature
The one above was taken of the Boise River, facing North.
The one above was taken by Catey. Ultimate compliment: professional photographer was present and said, "You ladies, that is one hell of a portrait shot. You sure this is just a hobby for you two?"
Edits: Saturation, Highlights
Our fun day ended at IHOP for a free short stack. :)
